Sustainable drink containers

Yes, skulls of enemies are a renewable source. You can always make new enemies.
And you’re getting rid of people that will probably use plastic. Killing a bunch of birds and a person with one stone, or axe, or whatever you want to use.
The best part is that if you have enough enemies you will never run out of skull cups and overpopulation wouldn't be a issue.
And they're entirely biodegradable, and even *good* for the environment!
What if you have no enemies?
Then your either Keanu Reeves or Lying.
I could change my name to Lying
True true... but it would probably make people trust you less
Ok let’s start mass production then
We’re already producing them.
And each one is a carbon sink and reduces resource consumption.
Plus bones are biodegradable
You can make new enemiew and then kill it to have another skull
How do I delete someone else's comment
Hey! Don't make me drink from your skull!
You need a enemy skull?
Thanks, but I already have plenty to harvest.
Brief history of my country After the battle, Krum encased Nicephorus's skull in silver, and used it as a cup for wine-drinking. This is one of the best documented instances of the custom of the skull cup. (Bulgaria)
Yes and he later won the quidditch world finals. Good times.
Actually Ireland won, but Krum caught the snitch
But did the snitch get stitch??
I was talking about a true historical fact happening around 9th Century. But I have to admit that refference to HP movies is fun
No that was me.
I was expecting for this comment
Not sure if y’all know what goes on in the bottom part of a skull…but it definitely doesn’t hold liquid.
EDIT: No, not eye holes. Your brain stem has to enter your skull. There’s a sizable hole in the bottom of the cavity where the brain resides to allow this.
you seal the holes with strips of leather tanned from the hide of your enemy.
And super hot to watch
In the words of the poet:
*I put my thang down, flip it and reverse it*
Made me chuckle, thanks
Yep, it’s a pretty well known thing: https://www.oglaf.com/skulls/
Warning: other comics on that site are NSFW of multiple varieties, sometimes at the same time.
I've been a fan for years and that is still my favorite comic I don't know why but it tickles me so much.
Same, but for me it is either the skulls one or this one https://www.oglaf.com/fountain-of-doubt/
It had to be linked. I came here to make sure it was.
Oglaf is NSFW in ways you can't even imagine until you read it. The author has some very strange ideas.
Apparently you don’t use the full skull, but actually cut it to make more of a bowl.
I’d think so! Cut the top half off and flip it over.
Turn it upside down
True, a skull is not a fossil fuel, whereas plastic is
I was always told that Oil came from Dinosaur Bones, and plants fossilizing? Is that true?
Not from dinosaurs. Oil comes from ancient marine life including some plants. But most plants turned into coal as far as I know
Oh ok, thank you for explaining.
No worries. I love science and teaching it whenever I can to people who want me to
you can get oil from bones, but it smells worse than death
Used as a harrasing agent for chemical warfare... By not being lethal, the oil was claimed to not be in breach of the Geneva Protocol.
So, it's ok because it doesn't kill you? I'm sure it would be more humane to just kill your enemies.
Side note I just looked up, it's a [possibility](https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2016/11/161102134504.htm) that sewage may one day be used as oil.
I was curious, as I've worked with septic sewage water before, and I will say, without the water, you would think it's already on its way to becoming oil. It becomes black and thin, which I would recall when the black goo from Death Stranding was seen.
This is some good fucking news. Thank you!
Yep. Think of all the pollutin’ that enemy would have done had you not killed them. Not to mention their potential offspring.
Potential offspring? I see the adds ‘Now our number one biodegradable mugs, made from an extra environmentally friendly source: kids, adolescents and aspiring parents. To make sure your mug stays unique and above all, minimize future environmental impact!!
This isn’t TTT
congrats the sub is now ruined, it originally was TTT but now it's memes and stuff
We used to use mostly paper but then we had to save the trees so we went plastic. Except the trees got cut down anyway.
You can also use bell peppers as a cup. Just gotta remove the seeds if you don't like them
*It's called recycling, Ed.*
Modern problems require ancient solutions…
Come to think of it, before the industrial revolution, no real damage to the enviroment was caused by humans....
We have really screwed things up in less than 150 years.
Humans did a pretty good job at wiping out most megafauna millennia ago. Giant sloths, mammoths, and many other animals all pushed to extinction through hunting.
We still did, why do you think there are no more native Americans horses, europeans lions, eurochs (the ccattle equivalents of wolfs) and many more. Also, apparently in the past the middle east was way greener than today. Guess who was the one that caused all those changes?
The Sahara Desert was made by humans.
no it wasn't.... That occurs every few 40,000 years.
oglaf taught us the drink will just pour out of the eyes
So thirsty 😢
Save the turtles by using hollowed out bones of your enemies as a straw
Who knew the raiders from mount and Blade Warband were so environmentally conscious? They really just want to see harvesting season come to pass.
But that's just a meme
And so is drinking from the toilet bowl
But theres too many holes
Mount and blade sea raiders be like...
I've been looking for this comment
No, no, he's got a point
Two fold sustainability: less people and biodegradable 🤣
Unusual amount of Helpful Awards. I thought everyone knew this environmental tip already.
Ehhh. I'd argue in this case the skull is horrendously inefficient and also bad for the planet as well...
Depends on roughly how old his killed enemy was, since that person definitely had their own emissions throughout their life prior to being deaded, *not to mention all the emissions from feeding them.* so we will assume they're a adult.
Which would put us in a livestock situation where its incredibly resource inefficient to use dead enemies skulls as cups, since they use massive amounts of resources to grow up into being your enemy.
It's like making beef, except less methane.
So not really r/technicallythetruth
thats useless, there are holes, in the eyes, nose, mouth, and ears
Those are very little, the eyes only need a small hole for the optic nerve to the chamber where the brain is. Same for the ears.
The mouth and nose are not connected at all to that chamber.
However there is a very big hole just at the bottom the size of a coin where the spinal cord connects to the brain, and some smaller ones for the charothids.

Man this sub is dogshit now
This highly cultured man combines the force of old Scandinavians with the responsibility of modern Scandinavians.
Can we name him? Truth Viking or something.
Less efficient so many holes
Karl Tanner from Gin Alley approves this message
Murder is carbon negative in the long run.
It’s also sometimes more ethical, depending on who your enemies are
[Things Just Taste Better Out of a Skull.](https://www.theonion.com/things-just-taste-better-out-of-a-skull-1819584547)
[makes me think of this](https://kodabar.blogspot.com/2012/05/comics-oglaf.html)
So I have actually been doing the right thing for once
[Find me an enemy with no eyes](https://www.oglaf.com/skulls/).
Well yeah but sadly I don't have any enemies cuz they're either my friends or they just stay away from me
Well, they last a while, they are biodegradable, they look fucking metal, and if you have enough enemies, they are easily produced.
Plus, you've cut short someone else's carbon footprint!
Plastic cups are just the skulls of your dinosaur enemies!
Finally a way to make all the dead bodies in my basement useful
Well all of the water will leak from under it and through the eyes so you gotta get the scapula of your prey in there too crush them down to size and use a little bit of their blood to seal it together might take a while to dry but worth the wait and the countless you killed cuz then you get a perfectly environmental safe mug for all of the blood left over!
I honestly haven't thought of a way that killing people isn't environmentally friendly, just ask my negative carbon footprint.
What about the new aluminum disposable cups from ball
Lower your carbon footprint, and theirs! And maybe their foot
oh crap, the wine is leaking by the left eye
i didn't know I was such eco-friendly person
#KHORNE LOVES THE ENVIRONMENT AND DEMANDS HIS FOLLOWERS ARE ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS IN ALL ACTIVITIES
Not to mention then, there is less people population so that helps the planet too
And helps with population control and acquiring the skull is a daily work out. Win win
2hat if your enemies are environmental activist?
Use the £3 to buy him a drink
How do they seal the bottom though? With plastic aha checkmate.
You actually turn them upside-down, and use the top as the cup.
... or so I've heard ...
*Technically* taking one human off the board is doing a lot more than just one cup's worth.
Vikings were the greenest mf'ers around
Sometimes my genius scares me
Reminds me of the scene from GOT where Karl Tanner is drinking from Jeor’s skull
Since the first one, I’ve never looked back.
I'm more of a containable drink sustainer, myself.
Mmm yes a horned helmet and a double bladed war axe very strange
Yeah, but you have to plug the rest of the holes.
It’s all fun and games till it starts growing mould and the drink will just spill out the bottom anyway
Yes, but making a set is quite messy.
You clearly have no idea the environmental impact of raising a human to warmongering age
God damn sea raiders
“The skulls of the rich are much more environmentally friendly than plastic cups. Just sayin’.”
Not [watertight](https://www.oglaf.com/skulls/) though
Mount and Blade: Warband anyone?
I just tried this and the water keeps falling out of their eye sockets and mouth how fix
Reduce Reuse Recycle
Finally I have a use for my skull collection
Ah yes the "Child skull shot"
I’m leaving this sub, it’s becoming a breeding ground for another hol up
Lets just ignore the fucking holes in the skull
Plus they have convenient finger holds!
I mean..... He got the point
OP’s skull then.
Solves overpopulation too!
For the same reason serial killers are also very environment friendly
what are you trying to say?
But the downside is, they have holes in them
What about the holes? Do they get filled? With what?
And if you kill your enemies, they, being dead, will stop emitting CO2, which is harmful to the environment
Hey ferb i know what where gonna do today!
It’s not true though, it takes a lot of resources and time to breed humans. Sure, they’re abundant now but the demand for cups is high, eventually you’re just gonna have to start breeding humans just for cups and humans notoriously require a lot of feed and shelter. They’re not like cows, you can’t just leave them out in a field and expect them to figure out what to do.
I can now fuck my cup and a person at the same time, wonderful!
The best part is that the skull is upright, meaning there's a whole lot of \*something\* on the bottom, making it cup-like. What are the odds it's plastic? (And even if that skull were upside down, it's more of a bowl than a cup. \*Real\* Vikings know this stuff.)
But your drink will keep spilling out of the eye sockets :(
“Cannibalism solves not only over population, but also world hunger, just saying”
- Bill Musk or someone
That’s a Starbucks beverage with a zarf on it, which means it is hot. Which means it doesn’t come in a plastic cup.
Can someone edit this and replace the Viking with Jesus?
Less waste and less wasters, a win-win if you ask me.
But take my advice, NEVER invite a cop for a drink (unless you're looking to expand your collection).
The production process of it is also eco friendly
Secondary benefit, you ended someone's carbon footprint.
