Though some of y'all would get a chuckle out of this

Hold up, where are the warlocks?!
I agree, also Sorcerers are missing too. OP has something against charisma casters!
The Artificer isn't there either
Where is my fave gun class?
Correction: long range magic powered small explosive hurling class
Level 3 artillerist would like to speak to you
they use the "force"
And potion class, and robo doggy class, and iron man class
All hail robo-doggy
I have a friend with a robo-chocobo he ride into battle (he's a gnome)
Mounted combatant rogue?
Just a battlesmith
I made a robo-froggy :3
The only way to ride epicly into battle is on a fricking robo-raptor.
We don’t talk about the former two, but the latter just doesn’t get hit. Can’t fail INT checks, has over 20 AC… OP
I always wondered, why is the artificer the default gun class instead of making a gun fighter class? I get that an artificer would be needed to make a gun bit it's not like you have to be a blacksmith to be a sword fighter.
Matt Mercer actually did make a gunslinger fighter subclass, but that is unofficial. The Artificer is considered the gun class because it is the only kinda sciency class in the official classes.
Even calling the Artificer an official class comes with an asterisk next to it.
Also OP forgot the most important class to play... the DM.
Very true. The God-class
To many chaotic neutral idiots shootings themselves while waving around their toys.
I think that's because is talking about core dnd classes, not tasha's
This is a heresy of the highest order. I shall have to multiclass from sorcerer into paladin and smite OP into the ground
They have Paladins - so the best CHA caster is there, at least...
Minors cant consent to contracts.
You just gave me a horrible idea. Kid wanted to get crazy warlock powers but he can’t give his own consent so he goes his neglectful mother and says it’s a school field trip so she signs the form and next thing you know he’s an Eldritch monster going on a rampage. It’s for educational purposes
Might I add a twist? The patron, normally a destructive BBEG type, is concerned for the child's well-being and starts parenting them instead. Of course being an eldritch monstrosity they aren't the most responsible parent, but they're trying.
It’s just a different parenting style, sometimes you just gotta let your kid consume the unworthy. The grow and learn through conflict you know
Also, you just melted my heart with that idea. The warlock contract was his adoption papers, the patron just wanted to find a better home for the little rascal
You just gave me yet another idea for a character I can't use yet
I'd play that
Yes but what if the warlock's patron is also a child and the pact is a pinkie promise
I could honestly see a fae do that.
Not sure I would consider an oath from a child binding either
But in my Verdan's backstory he did when he was 8
"Average lifespan is 200 years"
Yeah whoever is the patron, they should go to magic jail
>!(I really hope I dont need o say that this is a joke)!<
***Baphomet gets arrested***
*the Archfey has entered the chat*
Maybe it's a multi-edition meme? I recognize all of the listed classes from 2E and 3E, too.
Would love to say sorcerer but deep down I know I'm a warlock
I'd say that's just a matter of... Perspective?
Both of which aren’t on here lol
Shut up Dave! Let me have fun!
And if you look around a bit, you will realize that most humans have working eyes and can see this
Oh, you found the mythical +5 Dungeons & Dragons Belt of virginity protection!!!
Tha world must never find such an item. Its a band that belongs to monster
Sad DM noises
Once I was a DM like you. Then my whole party took an arrow to the knee. Now I'm a PC somewhere else.
*Violin plaing* All of them! I PLAY ALL OF THEM!
I heal and sometimes I don't
I get mad, cast guiding bolt
Everyone is impressed
by my spells -I cast bless
I prefer the term harmacist.
Wheres my Goddamn artificer?
Hey just because your Job isn't pictured doesn't mean you can't pick it! I've honestly been curious about Artificer!
Best way to explain it is, imagine a Wizard-Ranger
I don't see how that lines up with the Armorer.
The one cool subclass people take and go against the support nature of the rest of the class, ie gloomstalker
How is it less support than an artillerist or battlesmith? Half its features make it the best tank, because actively draws agro, unlike virtually any other. Plus, allowing it more active infusions allows more freedom in handing some out to the party.
Artificer is as much a support class as any other, in that an argument can be made for it.
I know, its just you caught me that I didn't fully think it out lol. I just thought it was the best description as its a INT-based half-caster support class and didn't mean each part perfectly matches up
Warlock all the way, but gimme some naptime in between fights tho. I'll bring my own winterblanket don't worry.
I said it was FIREBOLT. I don't care if you think it looked Eldritch... It was a firebolt. Cuz I'm obviously a wizard. See, got a book and everything. And yes, black tendrils coming out of the pages is *perfectly natural*. Its called magic you paranoid fools.
And don’t even think about saying I have devil’s sight. It’s called carrots idiot.
"You make a convincing point" \*Draws Weapon\* "Unfortunately wizards aren't good at making convincing points."
if we're going by month then fighter, if by favourite then cleric
Favourite mechanically, but not flavour wise for me.
I guess Sorcerrers and Warlocks have no friends. That's strangely fitting.
Hey now! I have a friend! See, she's sharp and shiny. Saw her on a weapon rack, and she just started talking to me. People say swords can't talk, but I know she can. I can hear her speaking now. Can't you hear her??
If you're a hexblade sure. Also you can easly make yourself a friend with the help of Pact of the Chain. Your summon most definitly isn't a slave.
Exactly! It's a perfectly normal relationship ~~and totally not based on inescapable deals and or mild versions of mind control~~
Probably Barbarian, ive legit been jit in the back by sething that weigs more than 2k pounds and only felt anger
I can confirm that you are a barbarian after reading your comment.
I don't know what this comment says, but it makes me angry
I can’t tell what this says, which is pretty fitting for a barbarian
Druid gang ⭐️
Druid gang for life
Wild Shape or Summoner?
Why not both? You can hold concentration while in wildshape I’m pretty sure, run around with your 8 conjured dogs as a dog
For more shapes/day.
But honestly i think I'd spend my most of my days just casting plant growth.
You say spike growth funny.
No pervert i say weed growth funny.
Why grow it? If you can shape into a shrew in a protected area, scrap goes a long way.
Why grow it? So I can smoke it.
You’re a druid who can shift into all manner of animals with excellent scent sense. If you can’t find or hold onto enough to get a shrew high, that’s on you.
Wild shape definitely. Man you could explore every nook of the world! Imagine flying to the sky, dive to sea level and reshape into a dolphine and dive down to to bottom!
True. But may I respond with "thousands of pets to choose from"?
Meh. Got a dog and a cat, love both, don't need any more.
Ah, but do you have an Elk?
No. Besides any druid can become friends with the whole forest so...
Both pets and shapes are limited by lack of bestiary development and a standard to backstory knowledge of animals.
Wildshape. stealth, mobility, tankiness, damage.
It also makes Druid a more versatile class, as it can heal, do damage or tank, or in some cases tank and heal/damage as long as they maintain concentration.
True, but have you ever conjured a dozen giant crabs?
For those wondering, this art is by the artist Flameaegis (https://mobile.twitter.com/flameaegis?lang=en)
Their redbubble is https://www.redbubble.com/people/Iceaegis/shop
No matter the oath, it's who you chose to be to others is why people look up to us.
Monk's are so fun!
I have found my people. Sure they WERE dead. But no one said they had to stay that way.
Low wisdom wizard
Pfffttt..I. sure my party can dodge this easily....
I tinker with all kind of tech, i paint Minis, and i support.
\*takes a step back\* they asked for what you identify with, not your character
I think it's obvious
Im monk open hand
This is Artificer erasure.
Wizard, cleric, sorcerer and warlock, I love playing them all equally
A Dungeon Master.
*sad artificer noises*
You... missed both my mains
Im sorry! but just because there not there doesn't mean you can't pick them!
I guess I'm a fighter/ bard multi
Cleric because death is cheap
I'm a bard, except instead of having any real/traditional talent I just make dumb jokes and try to make people smile. :)
That's bard enough for me.
Sorcerer, easily. I am not at all hard working and yet I understand things anyway (referring to my schoolwork in this case)
Dont get to play alot. Was mostly DM in another system (s), in the past I Always played ranger-types with a bow
Finally got to play! But not as often as Id like.
Half elf fighter/duelist who is also a bard, not the class bard but rather the profession IF you get my drift. Maybe multiclasd later?
Probably very edgelordy but I have fun and the character is maturing (been humbled a few times)
Either wizard or cleric!
Imma have to roll with Warlock. I got nothing special inside of me to give so I'll just borrow the special from someone else and pay it back with interest. Ive always been good about paying debts off on time.. Fingers crossed I get a Mommy Dom Archfey patron. Celestial is good too. Can't really do fiend tho, I don't like fire.
Either paladin cleric or barbarian and subclasses would be in order vengeance forge and bear totem all the way
Why is their no sorcerer.( I like to play a sorcerer)
I guess spiritually I'd have to go ranger. I can hunt (with a bow even, though not normally), love animals and respect the meat I enjoy, would have all the dogs if I could provide for them, decent enough with sword/spear/hand-to-hand to get past druid. My physique says fighter, my mentality says druid. Ranger is the best midway point.
Dungeon Master, cries in forever DM
*loads shotgun* it was warlock until you chose violence
Paladin and rogue are my 2 current characters
My rogue is fun cause he's charismatic and is pretty decent in combat
And my paladin is a fucking beast who literally kills people just by being in their presence
Bruh, there are 12 zodiacs and 12 classes
Why you only show 10? Are us warlocks and sorcerers not good enough!?!?
Sir. I raise you one higher. Whats your Pathfinder class?
NOOOOOO!! The purity of single class must be preserved! You cannot defile-wait... If I take one level here I get to cast some spells? Man some of these first level options are sweet! If I hold out a bit... I can get these abilities after 3 levels which mesh nicely with my existing ones.....

I’m totally a Monk.
Good at exactly one thing but even that just fails most of the time, worse than all my friends in pretty much everything else, gets tired fast, doesn’t have enough ASIs to increase intelligence, never truly improves regardless of how much time passes and no one who’ve known my incredible self for more than a year wants to play with me ever again.
FUCK THAT! Monk's have so much rich flavor and I have waaaaay too much fun climbing on vertical surfaces and catching arrows. Monks aren't the best at damage sure, but they can stun all day baby. They can heal with punches, sprout astral arms, and punch someone's soul out of their body (at least quivering palm might feel like it) Their magic can't be dispelled (I don't think?) Because that shit comes from within. They can pick up a wooden spoon at level 11 and do 1d8 damage with it, and if that's not cool I don't know what is. Monks aren't the best, but they are so much fun that I have to actively stop myself from playing them all the time.
Edit: added more cool monk shit. Monk gang rise up👊
Any class can have flavour.
A Fighter with *Tavern Brawler* is better at figuring with a spoon than a Monk.
Stun targets CON saves, requires WIS (secondary stat) and drains your entire KI really fast.
Climbing hardly ever truly matters when pretty much every class can either fly or attack from range.
Can someone explain how to build an artificer im curious but don’t want to not like the character if I mess it up
Sorcerer, thank you very much.
Where there is good I am the shield that defends it. Where there is darkness I am the light that burns it away. Where there is evil *I will detect it and smite it till it stops twitching* ~~unless it yields~~
cleric, its you being a holy wizard, its also one of the few classes that doesnt kill or have sex with people all the time, if your charater is a pacifist
Id pick warlock, if there was one.
Warlock, Monk, Wizard, Rogue in that order
I’ve got two. Barbarian and wizard.
Cleric and Artificer
I'm not on the list.
Well I'm a broken ass rogue barbarian multiclass
Just spin The spellcaster wheel And Well see
Druid and Paladin!
I Haven’t been playing dnd for long enough to know what my favourite class is, but from the ones I have played I would say it has been my human fighter
Wizard, who thinks he is a tank.
On a second thought, wizard bladesinger with couple blasting spells prepared is quite a Panzer.
Artificer, warlock or sorcerer : )
Only the most holy of character options. Cleric and Paladin supremacy. (Serious opinion, I think cleric is the strongest class)
Sorcerer or Druid
Druid all the way
monk, which really needs an overhaul.
I know they arent that great in 5e but i love monks
I'd love to say wizard, but let's be honest, I'd be a bard
I like ranger in theory, but I can't stop making Warlocks
Thats me with Rogues XD I love em to much
Were artillerist artificer
Currently I am a Tortle Monk that is a Kung fu master and an avid fighter against plastic straws
