When the players cast speak with animals to your friendly blue fox
By - EvilBox
There are some word contractions that are better left unused...
i see it whenever this contraction is used
i dont use that contraction anymore
Yeah agree, why not just use RP
"Roleplay a blue fox"
Roleplaying. Or RPing.
That was what was used in the meme
Precisely. Should have probably capitalized the RP part ... Makes it look like they forgot an a otherwise.
But RPing is perfectly fine, otherwise.
That's not correct English in this case
It is correct English
No it isn't.
Even if it is correct, why are you using a prescriptivist view of linguistics in casual context? As long as you understand what the person is saying, isn't that the point of a meme? To communicate something?
Says the person who uses "linguistics" in a casual conversation
There's nothing wrong with having a good vocabulary, I'm just not a douche about correcting people's grammar. Also you're switching sides now just to be antagonistic, are you okay with errors in casual conversation or not?
RP'ing is fine too, since the "RP" part is clearly focused on and also clearly understood. "rping" is definitely a little risky, although then again I didn't notice the problem until I saw your comment. So maybe its not too bad.
You leave that blue fox alone.
As a huge fox fan, what is a blue fox?
I'm pretty sure it's just a fox that happens to be blue.
Disappointing, thought it was some mythical creature.
It is magic. The magic is that it is blue.
Foxin, from Tome of Beasts I think :)
This is exactly the type of thing I wanted to hear, thank you!
If its not Tome of Beasts its Creature Codex, both made by kobold press
Had to role play a seagull last session because they wanted to talk to a bird and they were at a port. I was pretty proud of myself for asking one of them for their sandwich. Mine! Mine!
knowing you did a finding nemo reference brings peace to my soul, thanks lol
I feel this in my bones.
I was polymorphed into a duck for 8 hours once. As far as the characters knew the change was permanent. I spent like a whole session RPing a depressed duck. That was quite the experience.
