Good jumping on point for Daredevil?

Have you ever read Daredevil before? If you haven't, you should really start with Frank Miller's run. It influenced every Daredevil comic written afterwards
He wrote a good origin story called Daredevil: The Man Without Fear. A lot of it inspired the Netflix show!
Honestly, DD has a long list of amazing creators. I loved the Bendis/Maleev run best though… it took me one issue to get irreversibly hooked.
if you want to jump on board with something recent, this newest run by Chip Zdarsky and Marco Checchetto has been really good and the first few trades are already out.
I'm gonna copy and edit one of my recent comments on Daredevil from another thread...
Bendis and Waid would be the 2 modern runs and starting points I'd recommend. Brubaker has a run that immediately follows Bendis and continues storylines from it, so don't start with Brubaker.
Born Again by Frank Miller and David Mazzuchelli is one of the definitive Daredevil stories. Came out in the 80s and really holds up.
For an origin type story, there's Man Without Fear by Frank Miller and John Romita Jr. Came out late 80s or early 90s, very good read.
Guardian Devil by Kevin Smith and Joe Quesada is a "fun" story from around 1998 or 1999, definitely modern art and storytelling and pretty standalone. Bendis and Maleev's run takes place immediately following this and builds off a major event in it.
You could also go with Daredevil Yellow by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale. It will spoil something from Guardian Devil. If you don't mind that spoiler, it's a great read, along with the rest of their Color series (Spider-man Blue, Captain America White, Hulk Gray, and Daredevil Yellow).
Bottom line, I'd recommend starting with Man Without Fear by Miller and Romita Jr, then Miller's run on Daredevil ending with Born Again, then Guardian Devil, Daredevil Yellow, then Bendis into Brubaker into Waid. Honestly, Daredevil is one the most consistently well written characters and most of his runs are well worth the time to read.
I haven't read the Nocenti run, but it takes place between Miller's run and Guardian Devil and I've heard great things about it. Harder to collect than all the others though. I've also heard great things about Soule's run and Zdarsky's, but again, I haven't read those yet, waiting on the Soule omnibus and Zdarsky deluxe editions.
You can probably just jump on with the upcoming Devils Reign event.
The current run by Chip Zdarsky is excellent. I'd recommend starting there with issue 1.
Man not a lot of people answering your actual question in this thread.
If you're looking to jump into the monthly title, i would suggest going back and getting caught up on the current run first (in trades or marvel unlimited) to be honest.
i jumped in at the start of the most recent arc and am feeling like im missing a lot...
you could also wait until the upcoming devils reign event in december
