Dragon ball z costs $50 per season for the special blu ray edition
By - Nakavelli
They are technically right: you don’t take it, you copy it!
It's like poetry, It rhymes
Fuck you Rick Berman!
Wrong star franchise, but good intention lmao :)
I was quoting George Lucas
Also, corporations aren’t people.
exactly, i don't pirate from indie developers
But they make shit, derivative, "artsy" games.
that's your opinion but I happen to like a few games that happen to be indies
That comment is also just the wrong opinion, as there is a shit-ton of indies that aren't artsy in any way.
of course it's a stupid opinion, but it's 2021 and I guess i'm supposed to be supportive or some shit
I don’t think you have much experience with Indie games
If that's all you know about indie games, you don't know shit about indie games. You sound like the mom that thinks all video games are Doom and about blowing peoples heads off.
Milf is just jealous Doom Eternal slaps more than she does lol
A lot of those are good unless we're thinking of different names
I mean valve is technically "indie"
It's not technically. They are independent (indie) developers.
Anyone who says all indie games suck can and should be 100% ignored because they don't know shit and are telling you out loud.
Well I have tried dozens of indie games and have never found one that was fun for me.
Do you have any examples of ones that I might actually like?
What type of games are you into? PC or console? Multiplayer or single player? Coop? Do you want pretty graphics, or pixel retro stuff?
I could probably come up with something.
PC, I don't have any consoles and don't like controllers.
I pretty much just play Battlefield V, CoD Warzone, R6 Seige, and DotA 2.
Ok, those are some good parameters. Are you strictly into PvP, or would you check out some coop action?
Depends on the dev
Can you provide any actual examples?
They are legally, but they can't die and are born on the whim of bussinessmen. Kind of like an immortal being conceived in a ritual orgy just to fuck with people.
What they are “legally” doesn’t matter though
they are group of people
A really shitty group of people
Doesn't that depend on the corporation?
There are millions of corps. Just because most aren't great doesn't mean they all are. There are thousands and thousands of great ones.
Damn dude you're supposed to lick the boot, not eat the fucking thing!
So you out don’t believe that there are any corps run by good people in good ways?
Even some nonprofits?
I mean, I don't think it all boils down to good people running good corporations. That's not how it works in this world. I'm just against capitalism, simple as that.
Aww man, I love capitalism.
There are just so many opportunities to make money and do things how you want.
I run my own business FWIW.
I have yet to see a better system.
> I have yet to see a better system.
Have you bothered to look?
> There are just so many opportunities to make money
Yeah, so many opportunities to struggle to survive on starvation wages while your elected officials take away more and more welfare you need to make it another day, meanwhile you're sinking further and further into debt.
> and do things how you want.
Yes, so many options of what to do, like be a wage slave, or work 3 jobs and still struggle to pay your rent, or sink into depression as you realize that you'll never be able to pay off the student loans you took out for a degree that has made zero difference in getting you the job you want, all because the "Jobs Market" has decided that your chosen profession is worthless to them.
Yeah, so many great options. A little word of advice, and I'm not trying to offend here at all: learn a bit of perspective. Everybody's experience is different, and just because things are going well for you, doesn't automatically mean the majority of other people's situations are fine and dandy in this economy. There are people suffering, day by day, and they want change.
What happens if I swallow the whole boot?
We don't copy, we share. Good pirates always share!
greatest form of flattery
There's a 1TB torrent of all Dragon Ball series movies.
There's a 800GB.
And smaller single series.
And some great pirates. Shared all those for free.
Jesus christ that series is massive.
153 episodes of Dragon Ball.
291 episodes of Dragon Ball Z.
64 episodes of Dragon Ball GT.
131 episodes of Dragon Ball Super.
I think 16 movies in total.
TV specials or OVAs I guess are about 10 or 12.
Yea! It's Massive!
that doesn't even include Kai which is mostly a remaster of Z but still a "new" broadcast release
Don't watch Z, watch Kai. Z is filled with filler because it caught up to the manga.
Fuck off how am I going to be see Goku and Piccolo taking a driving exam on Kai.
I absolutely need to know the episode number/names for the good/fun fillers so I can download them once I learn how to pirate.
Kai is so much better as a concise product, usually my go to but every few years the og DBZ has to be watched for all the whacky shit 😅😂
Don't watch Kai, read the manga.
~~Pirates~~ Kind people
Indeed, kind hearted, but should be supported by seeding XD
I always seed anything I download for a week
You are strong and wise and I am very proud of you
Thank you, fellow pirate :3
What is the name of that torrent and what site can it be found on?
1TB, 800GB, 600GB all are available on nyaa dot si.
250GB & 218GB are available on 1337x dot to.
Yea but what is the name of the torrent? There are several different torrents that are around that size. What is the torrent name/description and the name of the uploader?
If you'll search dragon ball and sort by size you'll get the exact size I'm referring to.
218gb torrent is complete dragon ball.
Can't mention name cause it'll get deleted that's why I mentioned size.
Ok, got it! Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.

>that’s not piracy
Unless his house was a ship and you board his ship to steal it to carry it back to your ship!
That sounds kinda rad actually, I don’t think I would even mind.
However it would be good to add that if you enjoyed it, support the devs if you can afford it!
That's always my personal rule
Fr Blurays and merch are the best way to support the show, it's niche, expensive and obviously isn't for everyone.
Eh, I’m not morally against piracy, but teaching it to kids is a little iffy for me personally
Sorry, 17 is more than old enough, I thought he was a kid kid
Personally I stream on stuff like gogoanime and download music via YouTube to mp3 for personal use, which is the closest thing I do to piracy, I can't afford a VPN so I don't torrent, do any of you get scared of getting caught downloading, even with a vpn?
Ya kid implies he is 4 or 5 lol
Old people see everyone under 30 as a kid
I’m 17, and I see everyone under 20 as a kid
....could you teach a 27 year old? Lol, it’s me. I’m the 27 year old.
Gross. Transmission? Should teach him a decent bit client.
Ah, i see the problem. You own a Mac.
I use deluge myself
Oh good. Glad to see this dead horse is still getting beaten.
At this point, it's closer to a spirit horse damned to being beaten doe eternity.
More like the ancient wisdom of the tech gods that came before today's younglings.
What’s wrong with transmission lol
Username checks out
>they aren’t losing a sale because I never would have bought it anyway
This is a very debatable argument, because:
Would you have bought the product if you haven't heard of piracy?
For me, no. When I had a console I only bought a game maybe every 6 months at most. And even then anything over 40 CAD felt way too expensive.
Though maybe I'm not a good example since I chose to sleep on the floor for nearly my whole life because I thought beds were too expensive. So i'm probably a bit too cheap for that question to work lol.
Do not bother with mental hoops. A pirate takes what it wants when it wants.
Theft deprives someone else of their property. Copyright infringement doesn't. If someone is against theft but not copyright infringement, that's not "mental hoops," that's just them living their principles.
Sure buddy whatever gets you through the day. I personally subscribe to the traditional pirate ways of get what you want without any need to justify it.
Sticking to your principles is the exact opposite of rationalizing to yourself an action that you would otherwise believe is wrong.
There are plenty of positions on the moral legitimacy or pragmatic efficacy of intellectual property that go beyond "I just take what I want."
If I dont consider pirating intellectual property as theft im a good person if I pirate.
But if I consider pirating intellectual property as theft im a bad person if I pirate.
Therefore I think ill consider pirating intellectual property as not being theft and stick to my principles of being a good person.
Again, you're acting as if anyone holding the former position is just rationalizing their actions after the fact. This isn't true.
There is more free content available than we could ever consume in our lifetimes, ranging from entertainment to educational. Nobody NEEDS to consume DBZ in order to survive or live a meaningful life. That's my view on the matter therefore my principles can recognize that pirating IP for life saving pantents such as the COVID vaccine wouldnt be theft and actually the moral thing to do. If I were to pirate content for entertainment simply based on a whim I cant bring myself to justify it. And to argue that people who pirate otherwise would never legally consume the product is a flawed argument in my opinion. Thats How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Piracy.
But anyways to each it's own. There is plenty of room in the high seas for dissenting opinions.
Wow that's a lot of words that don't address my point at all.
Yeah this makes sense, cause even if I don't pirate dbz for example I would not have bought it anyway. Either way the producers still win if anyone buys it.
I'm kind of new to the whole piracy thing, can you help me out with a question? I kinda need your help with understanding something.
> The game/movie/application still exists, they aren’t losing a sale because I never would have bought it anyway
Well, doesn't that mean, since the only way you would have been able to own that was through piracy, because you never would have bought it, so you only own it because you stole it?
I got it for free, but it doesn't prevent anyone else from buying it.
Steal a can of coke? That's a can of coke someone else can't buy legally. Steal a digital game? Nothing stopping someone from buying that digital game.
Jesus, $450... im sitting here having slight buyers remorse over <$10 worth of hard drive space for upgrading my copy last week to one thats 500gb.
But you have heard of me
And most releases you find are shitty over saturated 16:9 releases. Pisses me off.
I just got this god tier release if you can find a TorrentLeech invite.
Dragon Box? How big is the file size? I saw one on Nyaa that was like a whole terabyte
The terabyte is a merge of the English and JP Dboxes, and I believe is color corrected, with the JP broadcast audios. Right now it's the best way to watch the series
I love you. Thanks. I actually own the US boxes and have the JP isos and broadcast audio, but the merge seemed daunting!
Oh god if I had a bigger drive I’d go for it. I’m saving money for a 12 or 14 TB one.
Still not as good as the canceled level versions.
Those were the true original bluray remastered from ancient film. Rip
I'm on TL, what is the name of this release and it's size? Can't seem to find it.
Individual seasons, its there in the season folder names in the background explorer window.
They have it misnumbered as 1986 instead of 1989 tho, confused the hell out of me for a bit with sonarr and some stuff. TaoEs stuff is great tho, theyre the whole reason i bother with a private tracker at all, but still prefer QxR.
Not only is the English dub kind of terrible but it's a 4:3 show from the 90s and Funimation constantly releases ass quality cropped 16:9 versions that ruin it.
As a lifelong DB fan, Funimation treats it like absolute garbage.
What exactly do they think a pirate is?
Lol so much money for a series from the 90s.
Damn i thought z was from the 90s and the og dragon ball from the 80s
Yeah you're right, DBZ started in 88 but I doubt it was dubbed until the late 90s
That makes sense.
The Dragon Box merge on Nyaa is the best way to watch the series, officially or otherwise. Tell Funi and Toei to make a home release worth a damn and I’ll buy it
Nah bro, Funi's gonna release a 21:9 definitive edition for the 35 year Z anniversary, and then their employees will defend it yet again
What is the size and name of the torrent on Nyaa you are talking about? I'm trying to find it.
[iKaos] [SoM] Dragon Ball Z - COMPLETE BATCH (001-291, Specials) v3 - [Dragon Box] Multi-Audio [Broadcast JPN+ENG FUNi+Ocean Dubs][480p][x264][8bit]
“But you have heard of me.”
In the U.K. you can’t even watch any form of DragonBall Z whether it’s original or Kai even LEGALLY.
But you have heard of us?
Damn mate how long did it take you to come up with this repost? Damn small brain
Five seconds via Facebook
How dare ye FB Scally wags steal such Treasures
Thats why decrypters are silently hailed by all. They are god level beings, OTT platforms are all 💩
Its cheap but not worth it
dbz lost all of its charm after the frieza saga. fight me.
I agree, but I still do enjoy the cell saga.
It just lost a lot of charm once power levels became insane, and the different universe thing I've heard about super just doesn't interest me.
The Saiyan saga, of every fighter training super hard against an imminent that of Napa and Vegeta, where Gohan had to learn in the wilderness, when piccolo was still potentially a baddie, when it wasn't just "Goku will stop them" but all the Z fighters were crucial, is just more interesting than powering up for 10 minutes.
The lengths Goku had to go to get super Saiyan and how huge it was, only for Goten to advance when Chichi kicked him too hard, makes a mockery of the whole transformation. The interest of Vegeta being maybe still a baddie but having antihero qualities and motives for working together but not knowing if he's trustworthy, was interesting.
I mean up to frieza saga it was peak anime but even after that it was still very good.
Dragon ball lost all of its charm when the original ended and Z started. fight me!
Maybe the anime, but the manga is fantastic through and through. Toriyama's paneling and art during the Z sagas was stronger than ever.
Dragon ball super is the only one that can stand on its own without nostalgia goggles. The pacing in db and dbz is just too awful
Watch Kai lol
it kept the same charm, you probably just grew out of it
DBZ is divided into series??
Op used a wrong word. The blu ray collection is divided by seasons, 9 of them.
Op said season. But I think the US is the only place that calls them seasons, other places say series.
Yeah, if the DVD version I have is anything to go by it's like 9 'series' roughly split into arcs. I've slowly been collecting the dvds when they're on offer for 9.99 in HMV but... Blu-ray copy looks mighty nice
Lmao i had no idea
Entirely true, the ones whose property we take aren't people.
Especially for DBZ, since Funimation can't even make a good home release, so you have to get the fan made releases to watch the series without being assaulted with shitty video
Nigga , I'm taking errthing
blu ray specials are a luxury
I'd consider pirating if it was more noob-friendly - I always just bought a bootleg DVD containing whatsver I wanted - I'm absolutely very confused as to how tf do I pirate.
I'm 15 if it matters, which it most likely does.
This makes no historical sense whatsoever, that's exactly what high seas pirates did. What do they think pirates were, some kind of LARPers?
