Is this better than their usual Black Friday sale?

peacelovejoy4all

When I looked up their last Black Friday sale it was also 30% off.

Lioncat_

I’ve been wanting to try their squaline peptide eye gel for dark circles, has anyone tried it?

R12B12

I love the eye gel but I can’t say it necessarily helps dark circles. I like it because it’s very moisturizing and glides on easily without tugging the skin, leaves my under eye area feeling more hydrated and plump, and plays well under concealer.

Lioncat_

Thank you for your answer! I have genetic dark circles :*(

BodegaCat9

I order the Squalane + Phyto-Retinol Serum and the Squalane + Amino Aloe Gentle Cleanser. Anyone used these? How was it? Thanks!

requiemeden

I noticed the tea tree products are no longer on their site but still on sephora. Could they be getting dc'd? I will email the company later. Also, thank you for for heads up! I ended up ordering all 3 cleansers. I've used the oil cleanser before and it's very good for my oily dehydrated skin.

drkornea

My Amex gold card has a spend $75, get $25 back exp 9/7/21 for Biossance. Happy deal hunting!

superspyshu

Thanks for reminding me! I almost forgot that I saved this offer!

somethingelse19

Their bamboo deodorant smells like sour sweat. It does soften my skin though. Took some time getting used to. Likely wouldn't buy again unless they changed the scent. I love the squalane too.

I am most interested in purchasing their vitamin C. Here is the link to the offer [LINK](https://biossance.com)

Xub543

Thanks for sharing about the sale!

jedimindbender

Sorry I had a whole text written down, don’t know what happened once I posted it. Will do a better job next time

Xub543

No worries, you did great, thanks again for sharing 🤗

GenXGeekGirl

Haven’t tried any Biossance products yet. What are your recommendations?

GenXGeekGirl

TY! Great info. Looking forward to receiving my kits:))

Bitchichi

Their eye products are great! There is a set of the eye gel and the eye cream under the SAMPLE tab. For $7 you get trial sizes of both & they are pretty decent sizes.

GenXGeekGirl

TY for the Rx! I bought the ‘Overachievers’ sample kit and got the GWP kit - I’m so excited to try them!

Bitchichi

Yay! Always happy to make recommendations. Hope you enjoy your new products!

sarahstar15

Weird rec but their hand sanitizer is literally the best. Keeps your hands moisturized

FrogsInHeaven

Okay so it’s not just me that thinks it’s worthy of mentioning!

GenXGeekGirl

Okay - now it’s in my cart! 💕

FrogsInHeaven

This is going to sound silly, but I really like their hand sanitizer lol. It’s the only one I’ve tried that actually moisturizes like it claims to, it doesn’t have a gross sticky feeling, and it’s fragrance free (which I personally prefer if I’m about to eat with my hands). So if you’re looking for one last item to get you to the GWP, that’s my recommendation!

GenXGeekGirl

This is great info! With the Delta Variant sweeping through the country, I’ve brought out my hand sanitizers again. I was just washing with soap because I’m vaccinated.

peacelovejoy4all

FYI-The science says washing with soap for 20 sec is actually *more* effective than the hand sanitizer. They recommend the hand sanitizer for when you don't have access to soap and water. Also, I got the Hempz hand sanitizer when it was on sale and I love it! It has a great natural kind of scent and doesn't strip the moisture from my hands at all. Great stuff and probably less expensive than Biossance.

Xub543

For a while and it still may be the case, Sephora had it available in store as the sanitizer. It is v nice!

FrogsInHeaven

That’s actually how I discovered it! Haha. Effective marketing.

Xub543

Their star ingredient is sustainably-sourced squalane which they sell straight-up and feature in all offered product categories. If you know your skin likes straight-up squalane for hydration all over, that's a good option, as it's very popular. I learned that I like squalane in ingredients list but the straight up thing doesn't do it for my body.

GenXGeekGirl

TY OP and everyone for your recommendations! I bought the ‘Your Clean Routine’ Kit and the hand cream (chose it instead of the sanitizer) and it added up to $51 so I also got the GWP too! TY!!

GenXGeekGirl

This was so informative! TY! I have some squalene serums I have yet to try, so now I’ll look to see the percentage of squalene in them. What exactly does squalene do for our skin?

Xub543

This is a really nice GWP. Paired with the 30% off, the 15% cash back, it's looking like a good sale.

Xub543

How is the new citrus firming body cream with niacinamide? I had a sample of their squalane oil and tea tree. I actually liked it but looks they got rid of this product.

Yrros_ton_yrros

How is their sunscreen? Worth buying?

peacelovejoy4all

I'm mixed on it. I'm pretty pale, so I don't notice a white cast. IDK if there it's there on deeper skintones. Pros: Mineral sunscreen (which is all I use). Loaded with good for your skin ingredients. Unscented. Works well under foundations. Cons: Leaves my skin almost greasy/shiny (and I'm normal to dry skin), so if I'm not wearing any foundation, I need to powder over it if I'm going out. SPF is only 30, and I prefer 50. I still can't tell for sure if it blocks enough of the sun out because my hyper-pigmentation seems to have gotten worse since I started using it, which makes me wonder if that's why. Sometimes I dust JI (Jane Iredale) PowderMe mineral powder sunscreen over it for more protection.

Yrros_ton_yrros

Thank you! I currently use the Coola mineral matte and like it but it seems to have been discontinued. I am medium tan so most sunscreens leave a white cast on my skin. And my skin is oily and breakout prone so I am really limited as to what sunscreens I can use. Still looking for that holy grail product.

peacelovejoy4all

IIRC the Coola has silicones in it, and they cause breakouts on my face, so that's out (unless they're way down on the ingredient list). Have you tried any of the Japanese or Korean "milky" type. They make some lovely formulas, and I don't think many of them leave the white cast, because I think the minerals are micronized (nano particles) which allows them to be sheerer. I can't use them because of silicones, but you might want to look into them, or see if other people with your skintone have. Looks like we're both still looking for that HG...

Yrros_ton_yrros

Yup it probably has silicones, it is very slippery. But somehow I can work it into my skin without too much of a hassle. I haven’t used Asian sunscreens, where would be a good place to buy them? I believe I do not have trouble with silicones so I am open to trying them.

peacelovejoy4all

> I haven’t used Asian sunscreens, where would be a good place to buy them? I suggest you post the question here somewhere or if there is a skincare sub. I know lots of people use and love them.

milesmaven16

I didn't have great luck. I like the texture, but I have very pale skin and it still gave me a weird, shimmery glow. I decided to use it up on my neck, but tanned right through it. I didn't know my neck COULD tan, since I'm religious about sunscreen and generally sun avoidant. I only use physical sunscreens so was excited to try something new, but it wasn't for me.

Yrros_ton_yrros

Thanks, I will pass on this!

peacelovejoy4all

I'm kind of having the same experience as you. I like the texture, I have pale skin, but it leaves me more greasy looking than glowy, and I have normal to dry skin. I use a generous amount, but my hyperpigmentation seems to have gotten *worse* since I've been using it, which makes me wonder if I'm not getting the protection from it I need. I usually try to get SPF 50 (this is 30), and/or layer products, like using a powder mineral sunscreen on top, or a BB cream that has physical ss. Like you, I only use mineral/physical sunscreen on my face, and like you I'm religious about it especially because of the hyperpigmentation. I had more recently (before Biossance) had been using Australian Gold SPF 50 Mineral Sunscreen for Kids (Non-nano) It's a thicker texture, and you really have to rub it in to get rid of the cast, but I think it does a better job and is a lot less expensive. I was saving the Biossance for when I was wearing makeup, and used the Australian Gold or the Jane Iredale PowderMe, but on the last sale I bought some more of the Biossance as a treat so I would use it every day, and now I'm discovering that I don't think it's working as well as I thought. I'll probably keep it to wear under makeup, but I'm going back to my powder sunscreen and/or Australian Gold Mineral for Kids. Before that my HG was iS Clinical Eclipse SPF 50+ but it's not non-nano (micronized) which keeps it sheerer, but I don't think it does as good of a job blocking the sun. I'm currently alternating through those 4, sometimes layering two. The good news is that none of them have silicones which don't play well with my face. I've found other good physical sunscreens but they have 'cones in them and cause me breakouts. I guess I'm still on the hunt for my HG...

MaliceQuinn

I absolutely love their sunscreen. It's one of the few that doesn't break out my skin. Doesnt leave my skin greasy, although it is moisturizing. Looks great under makeup. I'd highly recommend it, although I'm not sure if it leaves any sort of white cast since ny skin is pretty light.

Yrros_ton_yrros

Thanks for your inputs! The white cast is what I am most concerned about followed by greasiness since I have super oily skin.
