I wonder if that is what you’re feeling? As far as I understand babies don’t breathe until they are out because oxygen gets to them via the cord and placenta. They only take their first breath once born.

I definitely believe that, I’ve heard my midwife say she’s been able to see the baby breathing while checking their heartbeat! It can move the fetoscope!

Mmm I think it’s maybe just baby moving in general which is still super adorable :)

They make breathing motions which is called "practice breathing".

Aww! That's super cool! I'm 31 weeks, so a bit longer to go, but I'm going to watch out for that when I get around 37 weeks!

I got a video the other day of baby’s heartbeat and I cried! I never saw that with my firstborn but it’s so distinctly that. (Not hiccups). Must have just been lying the right way!
